Alaskan Thunder Fuck, aka ATF, Matanuska Tundra or Matanuska Thunder Fuck, is a sativa dominant hybrid strain which hails from the Matanuska Valley area in Alaska. The story of this strains genetics traces back to the 1970’s. It is said that a Russian ruderalis (auto-flowering) strain was crossed with a Northern Californian sativa strain, and then with Afghani genetics to bolster its stature and hardiness for the climate. This sativa dominant hybrid strain is known to be a bit of a creeper, meaning the effects do not hit instantly, but rather they sneak up on you. This is a great strain for chill afternoons or working up an appetite before hitting an all you can eat buffet.
